| 24/7 VFR - Really! |
The Benoni Heliport is one of the few facilities in Benoni which has 24/7 power supply. In 2005 a 220Kva standby gen-set was installed to provide the Heliport and SA ModelSport with an uninteruptable power supply.
Security lighting, Heliport Diner and the model shop are therefore at the cutting edge. |

Graphics and Technical Data
Part of our web and information update program also involves Master Marcus Helena, a photographic and graphic genius who is the only person know to the Heliport to wear a 1,6Kg silver chain around his neck. We have been told that the methodology behind this outrageous display is to enable his to keep his down and focused on his LCD Screen (We wont mention his earings and O-rings). He is responsable for security aspects and is just great when it comes to looking after our young visitors and is a perfect snorer he also makes other noises which we will not mention on this website. he also keeps Sir John and Master Marcus on their toes.
